Murky Ere

"Murky Ere" is the sixteenth AMV created by Malcolm Wilson in his spare time to improve his editing technique, released on June 14, 2022. It was intended for release on it's upload date to YouTube of June 12, 2022. However, an automatic and immediate copyright claim resulted in a delay while Malcolm determined what action to take. His decision was to submit Murky Ere to the Animethon 2022 AMV Contest on June 14, which was accepted on June 16. This is the first of Malcolm's AMVs to be submitted to an AMV contest. The uploaded draft on YouTube was finalized on July 1, 2022. This version is missing many pieces, as trimming out all automatically copyright claim detected parts was the only way to allow it to be present at all. The YouTube version is effectively an advertisement for the uncut version, which is viewable from Malcolm's Google Drive. On July 24 the Animethon 2022 AMV Contest finalists were announced; while Murky Ere is not a finalist, it was also announced that all the non-finalist videos were shown in the AMV Room on August 7, 2022.
